Incorporating computer science standards into every day instruction is vital for improving student outcomes.

Why Is It Important?

Incorporating computer science standards into every day instruction is vital for improving student outcomes.

Computer literacy is in high demand. It not only enables graduates to create with programming languages and manage systems in their field, but also fosters vital skills such as logical problem-solving and resilience in the face of challenges.

Computer science should not be a stand-alone subject area, it should be incorporated into every subject area in order to maximize the relevance of the learning.

How We Apply It

There are many fantastic school-appropriate programs for learning computer science, and we use these programs to practice computer science principles.

The level of complexity of can be fully modified based on the skill level of each educator.

Teachers will practice doing computer science through hands-on activities and challenges.

We will guide educators to develop a scope and sequence of their computer science course and encourage integrations in all subject areas. Teachers will receive tips and tricks to improve their teaching practices of computer science.

Take a look at our blog on how students can benefit from block coding when teaching computer science.
